View from my window

Whether you look out at a city skyline, a field of corn or a mountain, Deutsche Welle wants to see the view from your perspective. Send us a photo of what is happening outside your window.

A photo by Gerhard Mundt of the view from his window in Evenskjer, NorwayBildunterschrift: Evenskjer, Norway

"A little summer cruise ship traffic from my kitchen window here in the village of Evenskjer in northern Norway! (68' 35 North and 16'34 East). During the summer many ships like this one pass by my home through the Tjeldsund Sound on their way from the Lofoten Islands to the Northern Cape. The mountain on the other side is called Sætertind (1095 metres above sea level) and is on Norway’s largest island, the Hinn Island. As you can see, even though it is summer there is still snow on the top of the mountain!"

Gerhard Mundt is a Canadian of German and Norwegian descent living with his family in this picturesque part of the world.
